Hi, I’m Jacob — a Principal Data Architect who’s a little obsessed with solving tough data problems. I love the challenge of taking something messy and turning it into a system that just works.

At Milwaukee Tool, I’ve helped build everything from faster Spark ETL pipelines to frameworks that let teams move quickly across multiple environments. I’ve also worked on some pretty fun projects, like using Retrieval-Augmented Generation to make enterprise data as easy to query as asking a question.

What excites me most is blending leadership with hands-on engineering. I get to mentor engineers, refine systems for major performance gains, and make sure data is always ready when the business needs it.

When I’m not knee-deep in pipelines or side projects (usually Django apps, APIs, command line interfaces, or some Python experiment), I’m spending time with my family. Faith and family keep me grounded, reminding me of the bigger picture behind the work I do.
